Who we are

We're two computer scientists who started a small studio in Athens in January 2026 with one idea: to make objects that move people, bridging the gap between the screen and the hand. We believe in art for the many, personal for everyone, in limited runs.

Our Story: «Akuson akuson»

Our name isn't random. «Akuson akuson» — «listen, listen» — is what my grandfather used to say in the village every summer, in Draviskos, Serres, each time I enthusiastically showed him my childhood «inventions». It was an expression of wonder in front of something new, something strange, something that worked in a way he didn't expect. Today, we keep that childhood curiosity and our grandfather's exclamation as our guide. We keep making «inventions» — it's just that now our tools have changed.

What does «Phygital» (Φυφιακή) mean?

No, it's not a typo. It's our identity: the fusion of Physical with Digital.

Phygital is first our process. Everything begins digitally, with algorithms and a digital design that give form to the intangible. Then our 3D printers (adjusted by hand again and again, until we push the technology to its limits) transfer the form into matter. And finally, hands take over: finishing, assembly, final inspection. No object leaves the studio without us touching it. Where the precision of the algorithm ends, the warmth of the human touch begins.

But phygital is also the object itself. Each of our creations hides a digital world inside: an experience that reveals itself only to the one who holds it. The tangible becomes a key to something intangible.

The magic of the unexpected

Art is whatever stirs emotions. Whatever draws you beyond the immediately visible. Technology has always seemed magical, in a different way to every generation. We search for the modern version of that magic: the feeling you get when something works in a way you didn't expect. An «invention» that hides within it ingenuity and soul.

Art for the many

We believe successful art today should be accessible, even commercial, in the noblest sense of the word. We're not interested in the sterile painting hanging on a wall to be admired by few. We focus on objects you can buy, hold, use. Art that lives within everyday life and wears beautifully alongside it.

Art that resembles you

Traditional art is a monologue: the artist creates, and you watch. The same work, the same experience, for everyone. We believe that in the digital age, that's not enough. Technology gives us the ability to make objects that aren't just for you — they're yours. Each piece can carry something unique inside: a message, a memory, a connection that belongs to no one else. The same form, but a different soul. Art for the many, but personal for everyone.

Limited runs

We don't mass produce. We're not a factory. We make limited runs for specific moments. Each creation of ours is born for a reason — a personal moment, an idea, a season. And when it's gone, it's gone. This mortality of objects makes them unique. Whoever caught it, «heard it».

We make small things with big emotions.
